biography
Kim Bonassin grew up in Kingwood, TX, and after graduating from KHS moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas where she earned a degree in Biology. Soon after, she decided to enter the medical field and went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After over a decade of working in acute care settings as a nurse, Kim went on to complete her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, graduating in 2021. Kim is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background in medicine and over 12 years of acute care experience.
When not working, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children (Zelda and Henry), and three dogs. She loves to kayak, fish, travel, and be outdoors.
